eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking a lot lately about the jump from a traditional folding bike to a folding eBike, especially for my daily commute which involves a few hills and about 7 miles each way. For those of you who've made the switch or even just tried both, how does the ride quality and overall convenience compare? I'm curious if the added weight of an eBike battery significantly impacts the "fold and carry" aspect, or if the assist just makes it a no-brainer for city riding with mixed terrain. What are your thoughts?
