Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey Aventon fam!

I was just out on my Aventon Pace 500.3 this morning, cruising around some local trails and thinking about how awesome these bikes are. It got me wondering about everyone's experience with eBike laws. Specifically, what's the deal in your area regarding Class 2 vs. Class 3 bikes, especially on multi-use paths? I'm in California, and it seems like it varies a lot by county, which can be a bit confusing when planning longer rides.

What are the rules like where you ride your Aventon? Any strange local ordinances you've run into?
