Common eBike problems and solutions

Hey everyone!

Been lurking here for a bit and finally decided to jump in and start a thread. I've been really getting into custom eBike builds lately – currently working on converting an old rigid MTB into a commuter with a Bafang BBSHD. It's been a blast, but also a learning curve!

I'm curious, for those of you who have tackled custom eBike builds, what are some of the most common problems you've encountered, and more importantly, what clever solutions did you come up with? I'm talking anything from wiring nightmares to battery mounting challenges, or even just unexpected component compatibility issues. Share your wisdom!
