Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Just got back from a fantastic ride on my new folding eBike – it's been a game-changer for my commute, especially with the train portion. It got me thinking, though, about all the different legal regulations out there. Does anyone have experience with varying laws for folding eBikes specifically, especially when traveling between states or even different cities? I'm curious if the compact nature changes anything regarding where you can ride or store them.
