Legal regulations for eBikes

Just got back from a great ride on my Engwe Engine Pro, did about 20 miles on some mixed bike paths and roads today. It got me thinking about all the different legal regulations out there for eBikes, especially with our higher-powered models. What's the situation like in your area regarding wattage limits, throttle use, or even where you can ride? I'm curious if anyone has run into any issues or has tips on staying compliant!
