eBike technology explained

Hope you're all having some great rides. I've been loving my AiPAS, especially on those longer weekend treks up the local hills – the assist makes such a difference. I was just thinking about how incredible these machines are and wanted to open up a discussion: What's one piece of eBike technology you'd love to understand better, or something you found surprisingly innovative on your AiPAS? For me, it's always been the nuances of the torque sensor vs. cadence sensor systems – how do they really optimize power delivery so smoothly?
