Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Been loving my new Class 3 eMTB lately, especially hitting some of the longer paved trails around here. It got me thinking though, with all the different classes and motor sizes, how are you all navigating the legal landscape for eBikes in your areas? I'm particularly curious about Class 3 bikes on multi-use paths – are they generally allowed where you ride, or do you find yourselves having to stick to roads? It seems like every state/city has slightly different rules, and it can get a bit confusing!
