eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

Been thinking a lot lately about the eBike vs. traditional bike debate, especially after a recent group ride. I was on my Class 1 eMTB, and my buddy was on his analog hardtail, and we covered about 20 miles of mixed trails and fire roads. While I definitely had an easier time on the climbs, he was still keeping up, and I found myself wondering if I'm missing out on some of the "pure" cycling experience.

For those of you who own both, or have made the switch, what's your take? Do you find yourselves reaching for one over the other for specific rides or distances, or has your eBike completely replaced your traditional one? I'm curious to hear your real-world comparisons!
