eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

I was just out on my commuter eBike this morning, zipping along the bike path (about 10 miles round trip, mostly flat with a few inclines), and it got me thinking about how amazing these machines are. The motor assistance, the battery range, the different pedal assist levels – it's all so seamless now.

I'm curious, what's one piece of eBike technology that you find most fascinating or that you'd love to understand better? For me, it's probably the nuances of torque sensors versus cadence sensors and how they really impact the ride feel. What about you all?
