Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Been thinking a lot about eBike regulations lately, especially with more and more of us hitting the trails and roads. I've got a Class 1 hardtail that I love taking on local multi-use paths, but sometimes I wonder if I'm even allowed on certain sections, or if my speed is an issue. It seems like every state and even local municipality has different rules for Class 1, 2, and 3 eBikes.

What are your experiences navigating these legal waters? Have you ever run into issues or confusion about where you can ride, or what's considered legal in your area? It's a bit of a minefield out there!
