New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

I'm completely new to the eBike world and trying to figure out where to even begin. I'm really interested in a folding eBike because I live in an apartment and need something compact for storage and easy transport in my car for weekend trips. For those of you with folding eBikes, what are some key things I should look for, or any common pitfalls to avoid when buying my first one? I'm hoping to use it for city commutes (5-10 miles round trip) and some light trail riding. Thanks in advance for any advice!
