eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

I've been riding my new folding eBike, a Lectric XP 3.0, around town and on some light trails lately – it's been awesome for commuting and then stashing away. I'm curious about the tech side, especially with folders. How do manufacturers manage to pack all the battery and motor tech into such a compact frame without compromising too much on power or range? What are some of the unique engineering challenges for folding eBikes compared to full-size ones?
