eBike technology explained

Been out on my full-suspension eMTB a lot lately, tackling some gnarly trails and loving the extra boost. It got me thinking about all the tech packed into these machines – motors, batteries, controllers, sensors... it's a lot! I'm pretty familiar with the basics, but I'd love to dive deeper into how things like torque sensing versus cadence sensing really feel different on steep climbs, or what the latest battery tech means for range on a 30-mile ride with 3000ft of elevation. What's one piece of eBike tech you're most curious about, or something you've learned that totally changed your riding experience?
