Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Been thinking a lot lately about the legal side of things, especially with all the cool DIY mods people are doing. I've got a Class 1 hardtail eMTB, and while I love tinkering, I'm always a bit paranoid about pushing boundaries. What are your experiences with local regulations, particularly when it comes to modifying motor wattage or speed limits? Have any of you run into issues, or found reliable resources for staying compliant while still having fun with your builds?
