eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

Been thinking a lot lately about the eBike vs. traditional bike debate, especially from a DIY perspective. I've got a pretty solid traditional mountain bike that I love, but I'm starting to eye some of these DIY eBike conversion kits. For those of you who've either converted a traditional bike or own both, what are your thoughts on the feel of a DIY eBike compared to a purpose-built traditional bike, especially on technical trails or longer commutes? I'm curious if the added weight and motor placement really change the handling dynamics that much, or if it's something you quickly adapt to.
