Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Just got back from an awesome ride on my full-suspension eMTB up some local singletrack, and it got me thinking about something pretty important: legal regulations. Specifically for us mountain eBike riders, it feels like the rules can be a real patchwork depending on where you are.

I've heard stories about trails being closed to eBikes, or different class restrictions. What's the situation like in your neck of the woods, especially regarding Class 1 vs. Class 2 or 3 eMTBs on public trails? Are you seeing more clarity or more confusion out there?
