Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

I've been absolutely loving my new cargo eBike – it's been a game-changer for grocery runs and school pickups, even on some of the steeper hills around my neighborhood. It got me thinking, with these things getting more powerful and carrying more weight, what's the deal with legal regulations? Are cargo eBikes treated differently than regular eBikes in terms of motor wattage limits, speed restrictions, or even where we can ride them? I'm curious if anyone has run into specific issues or has good resources for understanding the rules, especially for these heavier-duty models.
