Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Just picked up a new folding eBike for my commute and some weekend adventures, and I'm loving the portability! It got me thinking though – with all the different classes and motor sizes out there, what are the current legal regulations like in your area, especially for folding eBikes? I'm mostly riding on bike paths and city streets, and I want to make sure I'm fully compliant. Are there any specific rules for folding bikes that differ from regular eBikes, or is it generally the same Class 1/2/3 stuff? Would love to hear your experiences and local insights!
