eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone! New to the forum here, and super excited to dive into the eBike world. I've been a traditional road cyclist for years, tackling 30-50 mile rides with plenty of hills in my area, but I'm seriously considering an eBike for my commute and maybe some longer weekend adventures.

For those of you who've made the switch or own both, what's been your biggest "aha!" moment comparing an eBike to a traditional one? I'm particularly curious about how it changes your perception of distance and effort on varied terrain. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
