New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum and I'm super excited about potentially getting into eBikes. I've been doing a ton of research, but honestly, it's a bit overwhelming with all the different motor types, battery sizes, and bike styles out there. I'm hoping to use it for a 10-mile round trip commute with some hills, plus weekend leisure rides on paved paths and maybe some light gravel. For those of you who've been through this, what's the one piece of advice you wish you had when you were first starting out and looking to buy?
