Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

I've been loving my new Class 3 eMTB for commuting lately, but it got me thinking about all the different rules out there. It seems like every state, and even some cities, have their own take on eBike classifications and where we can actually ride them. What's been your experience navigating the legal landscape for eBikes, especially if you travel with your bike? Are there any common misconceptions or surprising regulations you've run into?
