Hey AiPAS owners!

Been loving my AiPAS A2 for my daily 15-mile commute through some hilly sections, and it's got me thinking a lot about the tech under the hood. Specifically, I'm curious about how the different pedal assist systems (PAS) actually work. I know AiPAS uses a torque sensor, but how does that translate into such a smooth, intuitive power delivery compared to cadence sensors I've tried on other bikes?

Would love to hear if anyone has a deeper understanding or can explain the nuances of torque sensor tech in layman's terms. Also, any thoughts on how AiPAS optimizes this for our specific bikes?
