eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

I've been seriously contemplating a cargo eBike lately, specifically thinking about how it stacks up against a traditional cargo bike for daily errands and kid-hauling. For those of you who've made the switch or even just tried both, what's your take on the e-assist for heavier loads and hilly terrain? I'm picturing grocery runs up a steep incline with a week's worth of food, and wondering if the e-assist truly makes it feel like a breeze compared to pure leg power.
