Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Just got back from a fantastic 30-mile ride on my Specialized Turbo Vado SL, mostly on bike paths and some road shoulders. It got me thinking about all the different eBike laws out there. Does anyone else find it super confusing trying to keep up with the varying regulations for Class 1, 2, and 3 eBikes, especially when crossing state or even county lines? What's your experience been with this, and have you ever run into any issues or had to adjust your riding because of local rules?
