eBike technology explained

Hey Engwe Fam!

Hope everyone's enjoying their rides! I was out on my Engwe Engine Pro yesterday, tackling some local trails and thinking about how much I appreciate the tech packed into these bikes. It got me wondering – what's one piece of eBike technology, specific to our Engwes or generally, that you find most fascinating or perhaps a bit confusing?

I'm particularly curious about the differences in motor types (hub vs. mid-drive) and what makes one better for certain riding styles. Let's dive into some eBike tech talk!

Hey Engwe Fam! Great topic!

For me, the mid-drive vs. hub motor discussion is super interesting, especially how it impacts climbing and gear use. I've found my mid-drive Engwe handles steep hills way better than my old hub motor bike, as it leverages the bike's gears, making it feel more like a traditional bike when pedaling hard. It really changes the feel of the ride, especially on trails where you're constantly shifting.
