eBike vs traditional bike comparison

by NightQueen771 day ago

Hey everyone!

Just got back from a fantastic ride on my Specialized Turbo Vado SL and it got me thinking. I often ride the same 20-mile loop with some decent hills, sometimes on my Vado, other times on my old road bike. While the traditional bike is a great workout, the eBike just makes the whole experience so much more fun and less taxing, especially on those climbs.

For those of you who own a Specialized Turbo eBike and a traditional bike, what's your take? Do you find yourself reaching for one over the other for specific types of rides or distances, or has your eBike completely changed your riding habits? I'm curious to hear your comparisons!

Great question! I have a Turbo Levo SL and a traditional gravel bike, and I find myself reaching for the Levo SL for almost everything now, especially if there's any significant elevation gain or I'm riding with others of varying fitness. The traditional bike mostly comes out for dedicated training rides where I'm specifically looking for that pure, unassisted workout. It really does make every ride more accessible and enjoyable!
