Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Just got back from a fantastic 30-mile ride on my Class 1 eMTB, mostly on some local trails and a bit of road, and it got me thinking about something pretty important: legal regulations. It seems like every state and even different cities have their own rules about where we can ride, what class of eBike is allowed, and even speed limits.

Does anyone have a good resource for understanding the patchwork of eBike laws across different regions, especially for Class 1 and 2 bikes? I'm always a bit nervous about accidentally riding somewhere I shouldn't be! What's your experience been like navigating these rules?
