eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

I've been browsing the marketplace lately, thinking about upgrading or maybe even selling my current eMTB, and it got me wondering about all the different tech out there. It seems like every new model boasts some incredible innovation, from torque sensors to different motor types and battery chemistries. What are some of the key eBike technologies you guys think are must-haves or really make a difference in performance and value, especially when considering a purchase or sale? I'm curious what features you look for beyond just motor wattage!
