New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

I'm totally new to the eBike world and feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. I'm really interested in getting a folding eBike because I live in a small apartment and need something I can easily store and potentially take on public transport or throw in the car for weekend trips. For those of you who started with or own a folding eBike, what were the absolute must-have features you looked for, and what advice would you give a newbie like me? I'm thinking of using it for short commutes (5-10 miles round trip) and some casual city riding. Thanks in advance for any insights!
