eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

I'm wrestling with a decision and thought this would be the perfect place to get some input. I'm currently riding a traditional road bike for my 15-mile round-trip commute, which includes a few decent hills, and I'm seriously considering an eBike to make those uphill sections a bit less grueling, especially on tired days. For those of you who've made the switch or own both, what's your take on the eBike vs. traditional bike experience for daily commuting or even longer weekend rides? Are there any downsides to the eBike that you didn't anticipate, or do you find yourself reaching for the eBike every time now? I'm particularly interested in how they compare on maintenance and overall 'fun factor'.
