eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to upgrade my eMTB soon, and I've been diving deep into all the different tech specs out there – motor types, battery chemistry, torque sensors vs. cadence, etc. It feels like a whole new language sometimes! For those of you who've been around the block, what's one piece of eBike technology you wish you understood better before making your last purchase, or something you think new buyers often overlook? I'm trying to make the most informed decision for my next trail beast!
