eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

I've been lurking for a bit and finally decided to jump in and start a discussion. I'm currently torn between upgrading my trusty old analog road bike (a Specialized Allez) or finally making the leap to an eBike, specifically looking at some commuter-focused models like a RadCity or a Specialized Vado. For my 15-mile round trip commute with a few decent hills, I'm wondering if the extra upfront cost of an eBike really pays off in terms of daily convenience, speed, and arriving less sweaty compared to just pushing harder on a traditional bike. What are your experiences, especially those who've made the switch or regularly ride both?
