eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

Been thinking a lot about cargo bikes lately, specifically the electric vs. acoustic (traditional) debate. I've been eyeing a cargo eBike for grocery runs and hauling my kid around town – we live in a hilly area, and my current traditional bike just isn't cutting it for those heavy loads.

For those of you who've made the switch or even just considered it, what's been your experience? Did the motor make a huge difference in your ability to carry more or tackle longer distances with a full load, especially on inclines? I'm curious if the added weight of the eBike itself is a noticeable factor when the battery dies or if you're riding without assist.
