New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum, super excited to dive into the eBike world. I'm looking to get my first eBike, mainly for commuting about 10 miles each way on paved paths, but also want to explore some light gravel trails on weekends. I've been doing some research and the sheer number of brands out there is a bit overwhelming – Specialized, Trek, Rad Power, Aventon, Ride1Up, the list goes on! For those of you who've been through this, what brands did you consider, and what ultimately made you choose one over another, especially for a mix of road and light off-road use? Any brand-specific pros/cons you've experienced?
