eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

New to the forum here, and super excited to dive into some eBike discussions. I've been riding my traditional road bike for years, mostly 20-30 mile rides on paved paths and some hilly country roads. Lately, I've been seriously eyeing an eMTB to tackle some more challenging trails and extend my range without completely gassing myself.

For those of you who've made the switch or own both, what are your biggest takeaways from riding an eBike versus a traditional one? Do you find yourself using one more than the other for specific types of rides or terrain? I'm curious about the real-world differences beyond just the "assist" factor!
