Just got back from a fantastic 20-mile ride on my fat tire eBike, mostly on some sandy trails near the beach – these things just eat up that terrain! It got me thinking about all the tech packed into them. I'm especially curious about the differences in motor types (hub vs. mid-drive) and how they affect performance on soft surfaces like sand or snow.
