Best eBike brands overall

Hey everyone,

Been lurking for a bit and finally decided to jump in and start a discussion! I'm curious about what you all consider the "best" eBike brands out there, especially from a DIY and modification perspective. Are there certain brands that just offer a better base for upgrades, or have more readily available parts and community support for tinkering? I'm thinking about a new commuter eMTB for mixed terrain, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on brands that are solid foundations for future projects.
