eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Been thinking a lot about cargo bikes lately, specifically the electric vs. traditional debate. I've got a Yuba Mundo traditional cargo bike, and while I love it for hauling groceries and kids around our hilly neighborhood, those inclines can be a real workout, especially with a full load! I'm wondering if a cargo eBike would truly be a game-changer for daily errands or longer trips.

For those of you who've made the switch or even just tried both, what's your take? Is the added cost and complexity of an e-cargo bike worth it compared to a traditional cargo bike, especially for folks who already have decent leg power? I'm curious about real-world experiences on different terrains and distances.
