eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking a lot lately about the eBike vs. traditional bike debate, especially as I see more and more eBikes on my local trails. I've got a trusty analog mountain bike that I love for my weekend 20-mile loops with some decent climbs, but sometimes I wonder if an eMTB would open up even more possibilities or just make those climbs less of a grind.

For those of you who've ridden both extensively, what's your take? Do you find yourself reaching for one over the other for specific rides or terrains? I'm curious if the eBike "assist" ever detracts from the pure cycling experience for you, or if it just enhances it.
