New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum and super excited to dive into the world of eMTBs! I've been riding traditional mountain bikes for years, mostly trail riding and some light enduro stuff, but I'm really curious about adding an electric assist to my adventures. For those of you who've made the switch or started with eMTBs, what's the biggest piece of advice you'd give someone looking to buy their first one? Specifically, I'm wondering about motor types, battery range for 2-3 hour rides, and what to look for in suspension given I'm used to tackling some rocky, rooty terrain. Any insights would be awesome!
