Common eBike problems and solutions

Hey everyone!

Been riding my commuter eBike (a Class 1 hardtail, mostly urban paved trails, about 20 miles round trip daily) for a good year now, and it's been mostly fantastic. However, I've had a few minor hiccups – like a persistent creak from the bottom bracket area that took ages to track down, and a couple of times my display just completely froze. It got me thinking: what are some of the most common eBike problems you all have encountered, and more importantly, what clever solutions or DIY fixes have you found? I'm curious to hear about everything from battery woes to motor quirks or even just annoying rattles!
