eBike technology explained

Just joined the forum and super excited to dive into all things eBike. I've been riding my Aventon Level.2 for about six months now, mostly for commuting and some weekend trail rides, and I'm constantly amazed by how much technology is packed into these things. I'm really curious about the "brains" behind it all – specifically, how do the motor controllers and torque sensors actually work together to provide that smooth, natural assist? It feels like magic sometimes, especially on hills! What's one piece of eBike tech that really fascinates you?
