Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone,

I've been thinking a lot lately about the legal side of eBikes, especially with so many different types popping up. I just got a new Class 3 speed pedelec, and while I love the extra assist on my commute, I'm finding the rules around where I can actually ride it a bit confusing.

It seems like every state and even some cities have their own take on speed limits, motor wattage, and trail access. Has anyone else experienced this patchwork of regulations? What are your biggest frustrations or tips for navigating eBike laws in your area, especially for those of us with faster models?
