Best eBike brands overall

Hey everyone!

Been lurking for a bit and finally decided to jump in and start a discussion. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the "best eBike brands overall" out there, especially from a DIY and modification perspective. I've been riding my converted hardtail for a while now and am thinking about upgrading to a purpose-built eMTB, but the sheer number of brands is overwhelming!

Which brands do you find offer the best quality components, motor/battery integration, or even just a solid platform if you plan on tweaking things down the line? Are there any brands that stand out for their reliability or ease of maintenance that would appeal to a DIYer? Looking forward to hearing your experiences!
