Common eBike problems and solutions

I've been riding my Aventon Pace 500.2 for about a year now, mostly for commuting on paved paths but also some light trail riding on weekends, racking up about 1500 miles. I'm curious to hear about common eBike problems you've encountered and, more importantly, what DIY solutions or modifications you've found to fix them. Have any of you dealt with recurring issues like motor cut-outs, battery degradation, or even just annoying creaks, and how did you tackle them without a trip to the shop? I'm always looking to learn more about maintaining these machines ourselves!
