Best eBike for daily commuting?

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the forum and super excited to dive into the eBike world. I'm currently looking to replace my car for my daily commute and am trying to figure out the best eBike for the job. My commute is about 10 miles each way, mostly paved roads with a few moderate hills, and I'll need to carry a backpack with my laptop and lunch.

I'm leaning towards something with fenders and a rack, but I'm torn between a step-through city bike, a hybrid, or even a smaller cargo bike. What are your experiences and recommendations for a reliable, comfortable, and practical eBike for daily commuting? Any specific models or features you swear by?
