Common eBike problems and solutions

Hey everyone!

I'm curious about common issues folks encounter with their folding eBikes, and more importantly, what solutions you've found! I've got a Lectric XP 3.0 that I use for commuting and weekend errands, probably 15-20 miles a day on mixed city streets. Lately, I've noticed a bit of creaking from the main frame hinge, especially over bumps.

Has anyone else experienced hinge noise or other common problems like wiring getting pinched, or battery connection quirks due to the constant folding? What are your go-to fixes or preventative measures? Would love to hear your experiences and tips!
