Common eBike problems and solutions

Been seeing a lot of new eBike models hitting the market lately, which is awesome for the community! It got me thinking, with more people getting into eBikes, what are some of the most common issues you've encountered, and more importantly, how did you fix them?

I've personally had a few minor sensor glitches on my commuter eMTB after a particularly muddy trail ride, but a good clean usually sorts it. What about battery degradation, motor noises, or controller issues? Share your stories and solutions – could be super helpful for new riders and veterans alike!

I totally agree, those sensor glitches after muddy rides are super common – a good clean usually does the trick, as you said. For me, a recurring one has been creaky bottom brackets, especially on my older eMTB. I've found that disassembling, cleaning, and re-greasing with a good quality marine grease usually silences it for a long time, preventing water ingress. Also, keeping an eye on tire pressure is key for range and comfort, often overlooked!
