New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum and super excited to dive into the eBike world. I've been thinking about getting one for a while now, mainly for my 10-mile round trip commute with a few hills, and also for some weekend trail riding on paved paths and light gravel. For those of you who've been through it, what's the absolute first thing you'd recommend someone new considers when looking at their first eBike? So many options, it's a bit overwhelming!
