eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Been lurking for a bit and finally decided to jump in. I've been riding a custom-built eMTB for about a year now – a hardtail with a Bafang BBSHD kit – and it's completely changed my trail riding experience, especially on those steep climbs around my local hills. Before this, I was on a traditional analog mountain bike for years.

It got me thinking: for those of you who've gone the custom eBike build route, how does your current eBike compare to your previous traditional setup, especially in terms of component choices and overall ride feel on longer, more technical rides? Do you find yourself building different spec bikes now?
